D Minor (Aeolian Mode) Jam Track
This backing track is 15+ minutes and it is based on 2 chords only. That will give you all the space & pocket you need to experiment and explore this scale. It’s the Aeolian mode or natural minor scale in D. It’s one of my favorites to play. I think it’s because how it is easily to visualize all over the fretboard with the fret dots, or maybe because of it’s sound that is some how in the middle between E minor and C minor. I don’t know, but I know it’s one of my favorite scales to play on the guitar.
Use the scale diagrams shown in the video to find your way. You can also try the minor pentatonic scale for a tasty color. Have a good time 🙂
